After reading all the "complaints" in these forums, I feel Camping world is going out of business very quickly. They have NO customers and are laying off all the salesman, mechanics, and parts rep. I bet they will completely gone in a few months. :h Have you tried to get into one lately? Cannot find a place to park due too customers. Same for service dept. Get a appointment 6 mo. out and then wait 9 mo. to a year before repairs are done. Marcus is shaking in his shoes at the complaints that are aired here. :h
I am sure Camping World will do fine and Marcus really doesnt care- obviously they don't give a **** about their reputation for poor service (any google search will find they are consistently rated poor). They are THE player in RV Sales BUT as several big businesses that have gone before them have learned you cant ignore customer satisfaction- it does get you in the long run. Take a look at Sears for the textbook example. IMHO they are riding the RV wave right now- leading the sales charge with all the Baby Boomers retiring/ buying RV's for the first time- but RV's require a lot of service and if you screw your customers they will find someplace else to do business.
