extended warranty???????

The dometice refrigerator door in my 2012 Big Horn 5th. wheel will not close correctly. You have to lift the bottom of the door in order to close it. I had a RV service technician inspect the refrigerator door. He found that the door hinges are defective causing the door not close normally. He call the Good Sam Warranty representative and was told that
"The good Sam entended warranty does not cover my issue. The warrenty only covers the refregerator if it is an electical issue or the compressor".
This does not make sense to me and would like Mr. Marcus to explain to me why my extended warranty does not cover this problem. The estimated cost to me is about $400 for the new door and hinges plus $200 for labor. Help!!
