Extended warranty

Hello! I’m new here and hoping I can get some assistance. We purchased our first travel trailer 2 years ago and it has been in great shape! How we our heater is not working. When we purchased it from a Toy Hauler Liquidators we opted for the 5 year extended warranty however the place we bought it from has since gone out of business and I have no way of obtaining information on our coverage and how to open a claim. does anyone have experience with this?

    Good luck with that! Started here with email and phone tag. Got sent over to General Assurance, waited weeks for a reply. Then got told to go to the dealer where purchased to get copies. CW dealer is useless. Nothing but buck passers and incompetents.
    What a joke this thing called Camping whirled. Not just one incident keeps me away from them AND their associates!
  • Save your money for repairs. Good Sam extended Warrenty, is a waste of money. Call a mobile tech. If you can not do the repair yourself...Jim2007

  • An 'Extended Warranty' can only be offered by the manufacturer. What you probably have is a 'Service Contract' (SC). If and when you call someone about this, it's important to recognize the difference.

    If you have the Good Sam Service Plan...give them a call, explain the situation, and someone there should be able to track yours down and send you copies. You need to be able to give them particulars like the dealers address and date you bought etc.
  • call a mobil tech in your area. but first check these things , propane tank full,valve open? open slowly you must have a good charged 12volt battery even when plugged into shore power , light the stove let burn two minutes,to get air out of the system. now try to turn furnace on, it,ll blow air for about 30 seconds then light. your warrenty is gone, hope it lights .
