Faster service at Camping World?

There is really no insurance by CW. CW has an insurance department, but they underwrite through several insurance companies.

You might have better luck of an RV collision place that deals directly with certain insurance companies. Fr instance our car insurance, Erie deals directly with the Mooresville Ford collision center which worked great for us when we hit a deer with our SUV. Made the claim and when we told them we wanted to use the dealership, they said they dealt with them and for us to contact them. Never talked to insurance company again. All was taken care of by collision center.

Thanks, I was wondering how Good Sam insurance worked. Probably best to stick with the big name insurance company just in case.

I have GMAC insurance advertised by Good Sam. I had a claim so naturally thinking GS/CW all the same insurance should be a snap, Wrong! After waiting 2 week I check with CW to see how repairs were going I was told GMAC would not talk to CW since I was the insured. Needless to say I inquired why they did not call me and of course the excuse did not make sense. I called GMAC gave them authorization to talk to CW and the repairs proceeded. So, you would think if they were all the same company there should be no problem, CW says GMAC is not part of GS just another insurance company that GS sponsors. I can assure you once my contract has expired there will be another insurance company in my future since there is no advantage anyway. Might as well get one that is easier to deal with for claims.

NurseBetty...if you decide to get a quote from CW insurance, make sure they check through several companies. The insurance is not through CW per se, but they underwrite for other companies like GMAC and Allied. We had Allied with our TT. When we got the motorhome the quote we were given for GMAC was twice as much as Allied. You can guess who we went with. Allied is a Nationwide Company.

Our service centers do not prioritize work based on which insurance company a customer has. Once the insurance company agrees to the repairs, our service departments start the repair process. If there is any difference in the service times, it may be caused by the adjuster or insurance company. The insurance companies that the Good Sam Insurance Agency represents have strong reputations for timely and fair claim service.
