I guess they all have their rules but AAA did what you expected from GSRA. Glad you were able to get one of the services you paid for to actually perform their end of the bargain. The closest is not always the ideal solution, they could of at least split the difference or covered a portion of the tow up to the nearest location. It's your money and you definitely don't need to pay for duplicate services, particularly if one has fallen short of what the other provides.
