I am reasonably sure that any company, be it AAA, Coachnet, whatever, would refuse to move a vehicle from one repair shop to another when you, yourself, took it to the first shop and then didn't get the price or service you thought you should get. Contrary to what some people believe, the world of insurance isn't populated with nothing but idiots who are charged with spending money to satisfy every policy holder's whim. I am sure it is probably black letter policy to not pick up and transport a vehicle that is already in a repair facility, especially when they didn't tow it there in the first place.
What troubles me here is that this wasn't a break down. According to the posts by OP in another area of this forum( do it yourself topic), this vehicle was purchased in an as-is condition and he even posted a you-tube video showing its deplorable condition and was asking for help to restore it. Maybe GS saw these posts and refused to tow a wreck to help in the restore process.
