I am sorry you had a problem BUT the action is within their terms of service.
GSRA promises to tow you to the nearest shop, ready, willing and able to do the job.
You were there already.
BTW good luck with AAA in the NYC area. They do not have RV towing packages. You may be left on your own
Well, I think the OP has a valid point here. The shop he was at was not "ready" to do the job, and would not be "ready" for 2 weeks.
Agreed. I've done the same thing with my car ins. and there was no argument at all. They just towed it to the next place.
So there you go GS, no need for surveys with this one.
Exactly...I dropped GS many years ago because of their excuses for not helping me with a flat tire. I switched to CoachNet, and a few month later I had a breakdown and needed to have my motorhome towed to a diesel repair shop. CN called the closet repair shop which was 35 miles away, but the shop said they could not look at it for 2 weeks.
I informed CN that would not work for me as I was leaving on a trip in 5 days. CN said that was no problem and called another diesel shop that was 160 miles away and could do the work the next day. Without any further discussion CN towed me the 160 miles to the repair shop and I left on my trip 5 days later. I've been with CN ever since!
Maybe your tow is the reason CN uped their MH price to $249 a year. :)
