What troubles me here is that this wasn't a break down. According to the posts by OP in another area of this forum( do it yourself topic), this vehicle was purchased in an as-is condition and he even posted a you-tube video showing its deplorable condition and was asking for help to restore it. Maybe GS saw these posts and refused to tow a wreck to help in the restore process.
One of the brake lines was cracked open from rust (like that when I got it) and I want a professional mechanic to fix that. If that doesn't qualify as a legitimate need for roadside assistance/tow (can go, cant stop) then I'm don't know what does.
Per your own post "like that when I got it", Roadside Assistance is for helping people when a legitimate breakdown occurs during use; not to help restore a wreck.
I didn't know you are the final authority on tow and roadside assistance policies. I'll be sure to ask you for approval in the future.
Don't have to be an authority to recognize your little scam. You bought a wreck then bought roadside assistance for towing. You then decide to have a shop do some of the work and don't like their terms. You want the roadside company to pay your tow to help you fix up your wreck. They refused and you throw a tantrum because you got caught.
