First Time Member Question

Question

Yesterday (3-15-14) while at CW, I bought a Good Sam Membership and was issued a temporary card with a nine digit number. It says to make sure I register online at their website but when I try to do that it says I'm not found in the system and can't complete the registration process. Is that just because things haven't been entered in the system yet or do I have to wait for a few weeks until I get my real membership card? I read another post about an issue similar to mine but that issue pertained to renewal memberships. I joined for the first time.

There is always a human element in these things, so you should be able to get on in a couple of business days.

With help from GoodSamFamily Admin, I was able to get my membership registered. All is well now.

I just tried to join.  Input all necessary info including credit card etc.  When I hit the submit button it sent me back to the home page.  Now I'm stuck with either trying again and being billed twice or do nothing.  The web site is unstable (quote from my phone call to SAM) and if true I'll try somewhere else thank you very much!
