First Time Using Roadside Assistance
Near the end of a first long day of a month-long trip, we cut a tire on the TV and pulled to the side of the interstate near Erie, PA. Since I had just renewed the insurance for 3 years and were towing a fiver, we called Good Sam's. The tech showed up in 20 minutes, but while waiting, I unlock the truck's spare security lock, and I looked for the tire tools without success. The tech said they should be right under the back seat, but couldn't find them either. He removed the cut tire and we got to Firestone 10 minutes before closing. They mounted a new tire and back to the rig where the tech replaced the wheel and we were on our way. My heartfelt thanks to RA tech Nick Peterson for going above and beyond!
PS: A call to my dealer on Monday morning got the tire tools located under a tray that was under the back seat. They said that it wasn't the first call they got like that.
