Flying J not taking GS card for discount at pumps.

Doesn't matter to me. I will NOT swipe my credit card at any pump.

You can get a Flying J RV discount card without being a Good Sam member.

Success today! Everything worked as advertised at the Flying J in Tye, Tx. I believe the GS staff worked some 'magic' to get my card recognized by the system as being one that get s the discount.

So today I was able to use the pump with the GS Card and my credit card. Pump started, we pumped, of course out of paper. That's ok, I just snap a picture of the costs. And later, going down the road I calculate that yup, they DIDN'T give me the discount. I give up. Really not sure I'll renew my GS card again - why when nothing works?

They took the card at the desk, swiped it and the discount was added.

Over the year's I've accumulated so many of the Flying J/ Good Sam Cards its almost too confusing to attempt use. I always try at the pump with cards I have...if it works Great, if not, I continue without it. As stated previously....it's not a bargain at Flying J any longer as it once was.

I had to do that when using two cards GS and CC. Got the Flying J card and have not had to since.
