Problem with Pilot/Flying J Discount

Well, rk911, we're not interested in arguing. You've made statements on here that you've received the discount in the past and did not receive the discount at this station. If that's true then it may be a 'benefit' not realized by hundreds of Deluxe members out there. Many of these folks would like to know the answer to your question so they might start receiving this discount too. Please let us know what you find out....thanks...Dennis

Additionally, REGULAR fuel discounts offered to Good Sam members only apply to MOST FlyingJ/Pilot stations. Their website provides you with information as to which stations offer the discount and which ones do not. Furthermore, the Regular Good Sam discount, not the FJ Charge Card DOES NOT OFFER the "Pump Start" feature.

It appears you've either been misinformed or misread what was offered. Please let us know what you learn when you call Good Sam on Monday....Dennis

Why is this benefit only available at “select” Pilot and Flying J locations?
We say "select locations" for 2 reasons:

1. The state of Wisconsin does not allow fuel discounts due to state law.

2. Pilot Flying J has "dealer" locations, which are locations they do not own. As such, these locations can choose to "opt out" of the discount programs. Dealer locations are only required to give the discount for diesel at the truck diesel lanes and only for transactions started at the pump. Dealer locations do not offer discounts on gasoline and do not accept the cards in store. All of the approximately 100 dealer locations are denoted in the RV Travel Guide and also on the Pilot Flying J mobile app.

The RV Travel Guide will show you exactly where the discount is accepted. You can pick up a printed copy at a Pilot or Flying J location or a Camping World SuperCenter.

I've asked the moderator to close this topic. my original intent was to communicate with GS personnel about this matter, not to start an argument with others. apologies. what I should have done is to call GS direct which is what I will do.
