Here are my points:

Hi Seattle Lion,
1. As noted in the RV Travel Guide, the Ellensburg, WA location is a “dealer” location, which means the discount is only available in the truck diesel lanes. Recently, we created a “sticky” thread that stays at the top of the listings—called 2 Ways to Save on Fuel at Pilot Flying J. This thread answers the question as to why the discount is available at “select” locations and explains a “dealer” location.
I did use the truck lanes in both cases. I read the directory. In each case, Flying J found a way to avoid giving me the discount. GoodSamFamily wrote:
2. Same thing with both Spokane locations—both are “dealer” locations.
In the Spokane location they flat out refused to give me any discount. We ended up adding a few gallons to get us to an honest dealer.GoodSamFamily wrote:
3. The RV Plus Charge Card is not being discontinued. See the question on the Pilot Flying J RV MyRewards card in the Swipe & Save Membership Card FAQs--this may be what the person was referring to when saying a card is being discontinued.
I guess that is good to hear. Apparently both you and the Flying J dealers have "reasons" to avoid letting me have the discount that Good Sam promised.
Marcus, if you read this thread, you should be aware that GS's and your reputation are being hurt by these less-than-honest tactics.GoodSamFamily wrote:
I recommend reading the 2 Ways to Save on Fuel at Pilot Flying J thread post as it provides valuable information and links you to the RV Travel Guide and the online FAQs on both the Good Sam Club Swipe & Save membership card and the Pilot Flying J RV Plus Charge Card.
Sincerely,
Good Sam Club Team
That's more than a little insulting. I read all of that before I visited the first Flying J. The point is that you should consider why you need so much weasel language for what should be a straight discount. All three dealers available to me fail to give me the promised benefit. Am I the only one that thinks there is a problem with this so-called benefit.
