I fueled at the Ellensburg location last week in the truck lanes and did receive my discount. There are signs in the pump area stating which islands RV'ers should use to receive their discount. Also, not all lanes are set up to use your charge card at the pump. I noticed the sign after I could not get the pay-at-the-pump to work and went inside. Having the Pilot/FJ charge card did save me from having to give a stated amount from a bank card. I pumped over $350.00 worth of fuel and when done received a receipt.
While the program may not suit everyone's' needs or desires, I am quite satisfied with the program. It saves me time and my bill is automatically withdrawn from my bank account each month after I receive an on-line statement.
If you are driving a Class A gas powered rig you will also get the discount in the dedicated RV lanes.
Flying J and now Pilot / Flying J has been actively seeking the RV business sector for many years. During the same time the other major travel plaza brand has earned a very unsatisfactory reputation from we RV'ers. I won't even consider fueling at one of their locations.
