usually once a month or so Publix (grocery chain in the SE) offers $50 gas cards for $40 if you buy at least $50 worth of groceries, so for every 50 bucks you spend you can get a gas card basically 20% off. I don't know of any gas offer that's going to beat that, so when offered we stock up on groceries. The 5-8 cents offered by GS is laughable, considering the affiliated gas stations like Pilot are much higher priced than others to start with. Use gas buddy, and if Publix is nearby take advantage. Kroger also has a good fuel discount program when you get groceries from there.
