Fuel Discount
While the fuel discount at Pilot is appreciated, for many of us, it's a benefit we cannot partake in. Why? Because we own gas motorhomes, or longer trailers being pulled by a truck fueled with gasolin...

I've read these statements many times but have not witnessed this. Where are you guys seeing this? I travel the midwest plus up and down the east coast and Pilot/FJ is consistently equal to or lower than the competitors.
Come out west. In Washington state the Flying J on I5 north of Seattle was almost .20 cents higher than any other station from Seattle to Bellingham.
This is also true in AZ and many other states. Sometimes they can be a good deal...but in my experience not often.
And when I am getting 20 to 40 cents or more per gallon off the gas/diesel price with my Safeway, Fred Meyer or Frys grocery card at stations who are already at the low end or cheaper than their competitors why on earth would I bother with a Flying J/Good Sam and it's piddling .10 cents off high priced fuel?
The fact is that the GS discount just isnt up to par with others you can get. And while this is somewhat geographic I think it's true almost everywhere. Look into getting Groery discount cards at all the stores where you travel that have Gas discounts...you will probably do better.
