Lesson learned: Carry your own jumper cables and always ask a fellow RVer for help. Fellow RVers won't let you down.

True story. Several years ago the in-laws were camping with us. My father-in-law accidentally locked his keys in his car. They were getting ready to go somewhere and realized they were locked out. This was before the day of On-Star and such. And his car was older, so did not have all the electronics like todays autos have.
We started scrambling for a lock smith, checked with the campground host and had the ball, somewhat rolling for help.
Then my wife was talking to the camper directly across the road from us and turned out ... HE WAS A LOCKSMITH and had all his tools with him. In 10 seconds he had the car opened!
We were all simply amazed! Talk about excellent timing! We exchanged stories and made a new friend that day.
Always believe in your fellow campers. They have a wealth of experience!
