gift card
I received 2 gift cards for fathers day from my kids. It would be nice if the amount of the card was noted as well as the sender. I might add that this is pretty much standard for gift card these days...

I argee with bass-n-bob. If someone hands you a new book, or a pair of socks for your birthday you don't ask, "How much did these cost?" You shouldn't have to ask on a gift card. I received two for Father's Day and neither had the amount on them. I know, just be glad I got something, but that isn't the point.
