Good sam camping travel guide

What on earth do the arrows pointing north south east and west and all points in between mean while trying to navigate the Travel Guide?
When I look at an rv resort there is always an arrow pointing somewhere, but nowhere in the guide can I find an explanation as to what the darn arrows mean.HELPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!

    Thank you for your question. Tripalot is correct. The arrows indicate where the campground is located in relation to the town listed. An arrow pointing straight up indicates the campground is due north of town. If you have the 2015 RV Travel & Savings Guide, The "how to use the directory" instructions are on page 188.

    the arrows indicate the direction of the c.g. from the town it is listed under. Look in your directory index under How to Read Listings. In my directory it is on page 14 but my book is a 2012 edition.
