Good Sam Club daily giveaway
I have been entering the Good Sam Club daily giveaway for years and had it as my home page. It has been discontinued as of yesterday. Why? Barney

Thank you for your reply. I can understand the drop in participation in the giveaway the past several years. During that time, it has been almost impossible to find the URL to enter the giveaway. It used to be right upfront but got buried deep within the Good Sam page someplace.
We have the largest RV forum on the planet as far as I know. Seems strange that interest in the giveaway would lag with that large of a base unless something else happened. I believe it was the lack of promotion by burying the entrance URL.
I went to the Facebook page link you gave and found it to be too commercial for me. As far as the big Golden Giveaway goes, that seems just like the "Million Dollar Winner" you see on TV by Publishing Clearing House. Too many hoops to jump through to enter and too little chance of winning anything of real value for the effort.
These are my feelings on the new efforts to gain business. I appreciate the many years of the giveaway and I hope the new efforts work, but feel you made a mistake in ending the Good Sam Monthly Giveaway. I also agree with the poster that mentioned that the prizes used to be quite substantial but eventually got smaller and smaller until the thing ended last week. Too bad! :(
