Good Sam Club daily giveaway

As far as the big Golden Giveaway goes, that seems just like the "Million Dollar Winner" you see on TV by Publishing Clearing House. Too many hoops to jump through to enter and too little chance of winning anything of real value for the effort.

These are my feelings on the new efforts to gain business. I appreciate the many years of the giveaway and I hope the new efforts work, but feel you made a mistake in ending the Good Sam Monthly Giveaway. I also agree with the poster that mentioned that the prizes used to be quite substantial but eventually got smaller and smaller until the thing ended last week. Too bad! :(

I stopped entering the giveaway a couple years ago simply because I got tired of chasing the URL.

Obviously the new Golden giveaway is designed to get people into Camping World. I suppose if I go to a store sometime this year I will enter. However I'm certainly not going to the store just so I can enter a drawing.

The old giveaway (in my opinion) was to introduce RVers to new products and merchandise. Presumably all the prizes were donated by manufacturers that wanted the exposure. The new drawing is simply to entice people to visit Camping World, not gonna happen for us. I am a member of the Good Sam Club, not Camping World which is simply a for profit business.
