I had an Academy Sports credit card issue by Comenity Bank and had nothing but trouble. Supposed to get a $15 discount on first purchase using their card. Academy would not give me the credit because Comenity didn't put a "code" on the coupon. Another example was a check I sent upon receipt of the bill. Next month, I got their statement and it showed I hadn't paid PLUS $20 late fee plus $5 interest. I hit the roof, called them, and they insisted they hadn't received it.
My wife then paid online (which I don't like). I didn't use the card for about 3 months and got a statement showing they DID receive my original payment. Called them and they would not give me my 'late fee and interest' back.
Horrible lack of service! I cancelled the card!
