Good Sam Didn't Want To Tow Us

We had our 2007 Dodge diesel break down today. The check engine light came on and the engine died. We were able to get the engine started and off the road to a safe spot. We called GSRA and they told me they wanted me to drive it to the nearest town about 20 miles away. I told them they were putting our lives in danger since it was a two lane highway without any turnouts. After arguing they relented and said they'd tow it but were having problems finding someone that could tow both our truck and trailer. We subsequently found out the place they wanted us to take it to didn't honor dealer after market warranties and if we wanted it towed somewhere else it was 5.00 each additional mile for the truck and trailer. It would cost us between 300-400 dollars to get it towed to a Dodge dealership. GSRA works great of you're in an area where they can tow you where they want to but not so great if you want it towed where you need it towed to.

An hour and eight minutes for a response, on a forum, from management. That in itself, is great service.

No company is perfect, and mistakes will be made. It is HOW the company responds that is the true measure of quality.
