Good Sam ESP doesn't come through

I have a 2014 Thor Tuscany Motorhome that was just out of the manufactures warranty when the electric steps broke. A large bolt holding the gear in place broke. I have the Good Sam ESP that I bought when I purchased the motorhome and paid dearly for the ESP. I tried to get an appointment at the Camping World near me, but it was at least a two month wait. I took it to another local RV repair because they could take it immediately. When the local RV repair filed the claim with the Good Sam ESP the claim was denied saying that the steps were rusted and corroded and that caused the bolt to break. There is just a little surface rust on one part of the steps that has nothing to do with the bolt that broke. The bolt that broke has absolutely no rust or corrosion on it. After talking to the local RV dealer about the problems they have with the Good Sam ESP compared to other ESPs and see the comments on this site and other sites, I am very sorry I purchased the Good Sam ESP. It is not only overpriced, but it seems that getting paid for a claim is next to impossible. Marcus Lemonis can do The Profit on CNBC about how he saves other businesses, but he should look at his own and fix it before he tries to help other businesses.

  • They may pay you back for repairs after bringing it here to the forum. Think how many times they get away with it though.
  • Mccart,

If you would send me your name and address to the e-mail below, I will research your claim and insure that it is handled properly. I'm sorry you are unhappy with your Good Sam ESP purchase and would like a chance to make sure this is handled properly.
