You always have the option of taking your RV to any qualified repair facility, but if that shop is not willing or able to accept payment directly from us or is unwilling to assist in processing the claim, you can get stuck in the middle and have to submit invoices and documentation for reimbursement.
So save yourself some hassles and some cash and call us FIRST before you take your rig in for covered repairs.
after participating in GoodSam's extended service plan for several years we were well pleased with the way it handled claims .... however, once the plan's administration changed, we noticed a major change in the way they handled claims .... the dealership from which we purchased our camper is not a member of their preferred network .... we feel it is best for that dealer to handle our camper's repairs because they are thoroughly familiar with our camper .... the final straw came when the GoodSam rep the dealership was working with to handle a repair claim refused to pay for a part because he'd found the part cheaper on the web than it could have been if purchased from the dealership's regular, contracted source .... in fairness, when Scott learned of this he said that wasn't the way it should be and offered to refund the difference .... the reality is, if you wish your repairs to be made by the shop of your choice and it isn't in there preferred network, rest assured that being hassled is on the way
