PS- regarding the post by wbwood about the differences between the ESP plan that is available at Camping World dealerships and the ESP available on-line or through Good Sam's call center-
It is true that when you take your RV back to Camping World for warranty work, they take care of dealing with ESP on approvals, photos and so on, but they also will work the same way for either plan IF you take your RV to a Preferred Provider like Camping World for coach repairs and AAmco for drive train repairs. We also have a list of 1,000 preferred providers that can make the claims process much easier because they deal with us all the time and are willing to bill us directly. They also stand behind their work.
I strongly encourage you to call us first before taking your RV in for repairs so that we can get you to a shop that will work with us and not put you in a position of having to deal with the claims administrator directly.
You always have the option of taking your RV to any qualified repair facility, but if that shop is not willing or able to accept payment directly from us or is unwilling to assist in processing the claim, you can get stuck in the middle and have to submit invoices and documentation for reimbursement.
We also have a new disappearing deductible program for the GS ESP program that is available for either the CW sold plans or the Good Sam plans.
So save yourself some hassles and some cash and call us FIRST before you take your rig in for covered repairs.
Scott is there a difference between the two plans (dealership and good SAMs online)? Because there was a big difference in price between the two. The guy doing the finance (selling the plan) told my coworker that there was. He said that with the online plan that you have to do the leg work. But with the dealership plan, they do it all. Was he lying? If so, I guess he needs to be reported.
And if there is a difference, he. I might need to look at canceling and getting refunded on the one I bought when I purchased the rv and then get the online one that appears to be cheaper.
