Good Sam Extended Warranty Insurance
I bought this policy after my Jayco two year warranty expired. I was reluctant since I had not had good experiences with extended warranties on my automobiles even though I bought them through my dealer whom I knew personally.
I bought the Good Sam Extended Warranty and within six months or less we were in Florida during the Summer. We arrived late on Saturday Night and the Air Conditioner did not cool down the Travel Trailer. It was in the 70's at night so not so bad, but the daytime temperature went up to over 100 degrees. I could not contact the Warranty Company until Monday morning. I had already found a local Orlando Mobile repair guy who could fix the problem. The Warranty Company approved the replacement of the Air Conditioner Unit without any hassle. I paid the deductible and the Mobile Repair guy had the Air Conditioner replaced with a new one in very short order. I was very satisfied with the way everything was handled. The last time it was due to have the premium paid it went up substantially, I have not renewed the Insurance. Note however that the premium did not go up during the next couple of years after the replacement.
