I NEVER expected a Repair..... ALL I expected and received was a minor assist. I had prior situations with road side assist with Mapfre Road America and the guys that showed up also did minor stuff to see if they could get me back on the road with my autos. My post that started this thread is a side by side comparison as to how long it took to find a provider, side by side comparison of how long it took for them to show up and a one sided comparison of how Progressives service provider just gave me a minor assist to get back on the road. Progressive came out ahead by a large margin. Would Good Sam Charge if the fuel cut off switch needed reset on a F53 Ford chassis or would they just have the provider reset it ? I think they would charge baised upon my experience. There are repairs, and then there are assists..... where the guy they send out just knows where to look and can replace a fuse or reset a fuel cut off switch or tighten a loose battery cable and would do what anyone else would do to help someone out that is stuck.
In my opinion, Good sam turned out to be BAD Sam.... sorry if you are upset with my opinion.
