OMG here we go again !!!
So I am on the road this week going to Nashville when I have a blow out of my inner rear tire on my 2000 hurricane in west virginia.
I call progressive first, since from this thread you already know my past experiences, and then I call good Sam roadside assist within a few mins later for roadside assist also since I need this ASAP since I am traveling with my two young kids, ( 9yrs and 13 yrs)
I called both since I paid for both . It is 7pm and I was able to get off the exit since the tire blew right at an exit.
AGAIN, PROGRESSIVE has some one on site changing the tire within 60 mins while I call good Sam to cancel my service call but ask if they are sending someone ( I need to cancel my service call with good Sam since progressive is already doing the tire change) when the lady on the good Sam dispatch tells me that the earliest they can have some one come out to do the tire change is another 2 hours.
So progressive got to me within an hour and good Sam tells me it will be 3 hours.
My good Sam road side assist is GARBAGE. I am so happy it expires this September, and you could not pay me to ever use it again. What a terrible service.
Other motorhome owners I spoke to in person all told me of how good coach-net is. I will probably keep my progressive road side assist since it has been very good .
