Hummmm! The Platinumis still listed as $139.95 a year on their web page.

Looks like the standard(was called basic) has increased to $112.95.
And doesn't cover lock out anymore. :(

Read the small print! The fact that they sent you a 'renewal' notice and you are NOT even due for renewal is the red flag of their consistent bad faith advertising tactics.

I got a renewal notice with a low rate printed on it. Time came for me to renew and the actual price was double that. I presented the renewal notice and they said : "Oh that rate is for NEW members Only".

1. WHY send a current member a rate for new members only???

2.That's the thanks I get for being a member for years and years.....give the new member the discount rate.:R

Switch over to Coach-Net, much better then Good Sam.

I just renewed mine(Platinum) for the FW when I called they gave me a deal 2 years for $200 saved me $40 bucks a year.

We have 5th wheel and just got a renewal of 60 but don't know what it covers

Wildtoad, we have our insurance, extended care and roadside all through Good Sam.

Check with your RV insurance company they may have roadside coverage which would cost peanuts compared to $219. When I was insured with Progressive, the roadside was about $47. Used it once and it worked well.
