Good Sam Roadside assistance

Once again I called and explained my problem which is all myy batteries are dead after sitting all winter and then someone comes that is unable to fix my problem buy charges me $175. Afterward I call a RV mechanic I know in Florida and he tells me to check voltage which I never saw the person do. I don't mind paying for service if it results in something positive but this isn't the first time Ive paid for service after calling Good Sam and still bring no better then when I called. Maybe its time no explore other plans

  • Lead-acid batteries have an internal discharge rate between 5 & 10% per month even when disconnected. Add parasite draws and they will go down faster.

Battery Tender is a good solution. In the winter up north I used to take all four of the 950 CCA batts in my truck home and put them on Battery Tenders.

Now that the truck winters in Arizona I put on a small solar panel with a Battery Tender regulator and it keeps them in tiptop shape while still connected in the truck.
  • Batteries sitting that long in any vehicle without a trickle charger on them are going to be dead. Other than getting a vehicle jumpstarted I fail to see how your lack of maintenance is a Good Sam problem.
  • Please direct message me with your membership information so I can research immediately.
