When I had a blowout and needed a new tire. The GS person told me that there was a minimum charged against the credit card to put the money on "hold" and when the tire and service was completed the real charges would be actually charged against the card. He had no idea what the actual charge would be until they found a tire. He was right and it work exactly has he said it would. ( I was watching my bank account) There was the flat fee pending and when it was actually charged it was a different. Whether it was a fair price for the tire or not I don't know. It was on a Sunday afternoon on Memorial weekend outside Salt Lake City and I didn't really care at that point, I needed it changed. GS found the same brand and size that I had so I was happy.
The one improvement I would like to see is an invoice breaking out the cost of the tire and the service.
