They're waiting for us to suggest the appropriate mechanism by which to do that, Ron.

I personally think that every man, woman and child in North America should receive a postcard saying "Don't do what that guy said to do on page 56/57 in our 2014 guide." This would reach all possible Victim Groups, including those folks that just happened to pick a copy up, read that article, and put it back in the rack at Flying J.

We've made way too much of this already. Even if the wrong directions are followed, the problem caused is easily remedied; no one dies, no one is injured. When we were younger we camped with a large group. One member always left the black tank valve open and flushed the tank at the end of the weekend. He as well as his wife and kids are still alive. Let it go.

I also agree with the previous comment that this is not the definitive instruction manual for "RVing".

I'm sure that any person who has had even one rv during their life time will realize immediately that the statement is in error. My concern are those newbies just starting out and haven't a clue. We see posts here almost every week concerning the correct procedure from those who fit in this category.
