Last year I blew a tire on a Sunday in So CA on my way to Las Vegas. Due to the location on the freeway I decided to use my Roadside Assistance. WELL ... Someone was finally found who would do the job. It was going to be two hours until the the could arrive and it would cost $200. Then he was unable to take my credit card for some reason, so I changed the tire myself, wife was terrified do to the location. Not sure if I will renew the service, after all this was in a populated area, not in the middle of nowhere and it was useless.
Art1046,
I have looking into the notes on this call and want to apologize for the behavior of the provider. It seems we secured service with the provider that was sent out. When the provider was on the way out they called back and stated that they did not have the means of taking a our credit card payment and would charge you instead. At this time the rep should have cancelled the service instead of letting the provider proceed to you. We are a sign and drive service. You should not have been charged for this service at all. I will have the rep retrained also in this situation.
I am having this provider reviewed and ultimately I am going to have this provider removed from our network all together if this is not the first occurrence.
I will be contacting you today to see what I can do to keep your business as this seem this was an isolated incident.
Thank you
