I think the responses you see are for GS Roadside Service and not the Extended Service that the OP is talking about.
GS Roadside service will cover the service call but not the parts.
I don't know about their service plan, but I have a different extended warranty and they are the same. They will not pay for the service call but will pay for the parts and labor minus the deductible and shipping charges.
