Guess Good Sams doesn't need any new customers

Last week I read a post about a camper that had a good experience being pulled out of the mud by Good Sams Road side assistance.

I was debating joining because I was a long term AAA customer.
After reading this story I was convinced that GSRSA was for me.

So I went to Good Sam Road side assistance web site and signed up, $79 introductory cost, paid with credit card.

Less than five minutes later I get an email with order number, saying I would receive an account number as soon as payment approval is processed.

Five days later, nothing, I email back inquiring to account status?
My credit card has a $79 charge pending.

after three e-mails later I get a flippant email that they (GSRSA) cannot find my order,,, REALLY?

Called CC company and because it is pending,, I CAN NOT STOP PAYMENT!!!

And You wonder why customers are reluctant to re join or join your service!!
  • I called today to see whats going on. Lady couldn't find any transaction of when I did it two weeks ago. She wanted to do it over the phone and i told her I have had enough and was going to coach net. She said Ok. So I am done with goodsam. SEEEEEEEEEEEE YAHHHHHH.

    I am confused, you posted above 4 days ago that they had already told you they could not find the transaction and call, so not sure why you would think it would change in 4 days.

    So your credit card was not charged? Sounds like to me perhaps he process did not complete. I wouldn't be worried unless thou have a charge on your card.

    I am considering GS roadside when my coachnet expires in July. After seeing these complaints, not so sure. Please convince me otherwise.
  • So here's an update. I was going to go on line and get coach net, one last time I said I will check my credit card. Low and behold GS charge my card. So I log onto my account and I am good for another year. What the hell is going on with them? I will keep them for this year then take a real hard look for the next time.

    I wonder if the OP will post what had to be corrected. A typo maybe?
