Heat Pump Replacement and Goo Sams Ex Waranty

After dealing with two Mobile Techs, we cant get anyone to replace our heat pump. They won't accept Good Sams Extended Warranty unless we take our Mh to their lot and leave it until they receive payment fro good Sams. Reason they state is Good Sams, with authorization, takes forever to pay and sometimes has not paid at all. The current RV service we are tying to work with states he installed a new refrigerator last December and they RVer is home in Chicago, and they can't get their money.
We cannot take our RV to the Dealer and leave it for weeks or even days as we are living in it.
This is Kingman Az and the several RV Service Businesses are telling us the same thing except the first one who strung us along for over two weeks and never did anything. And there is no CW closer than Las Vegas, and it would take a days travel and how long befroe an appointment and so on.
Sitting here taking care Wife's terminally ill little sister and no room so we have to live in the MH.
What has anyone done to get service paid for quickly by Good Sams.
It is getting darned cold at night here in Kingman and warm in the days one heat pump down and the other has some had worrying sam behavior but cleared up , for no, it seems.

  • We have used our Good Sam Extended Warranty a couple times with services that won't file a claim. We just had the entire jack system replaced on our Phaeton in July and the manufacturer would not work with the extended warranty. Good Sam has a procedure you can follow for you to pay the entire amount, then file the claim with them. We did just that and I believe our check from Good Sam came within 2 weeks. It's up to the service center weather or not to accept the warranty, but you still have the warranty and can file your own claim. Just contact them and follow their instructions. We had to have the service center call with the information concerning what was needed.

On those occasions when the service center did work with Good Sam, they have never indicated that payment was slow. We have used our warranty enough that it has paid to have it over the years.

  • It’s been a few years, but I never had the slightest issue getting paid by them- fax the invoice and they call that day with a credit card number.
