Most likely because the automatic mail stuffer machine had a misfire. Seriously doubt it was a Dr. EVIL, take over the world if you don't pay us 1 Million dollars, plot.
As for the junk mail, it is more evidence that Good Sam sure feels it's customers are stuck in the mid 20th Century. Weekly snail mail solicitations have been a dying quail for the past two decades. Where I used to get a half dozen a day from every outfit under the sun, now I probably get that many every couple of week. But Good Sam acts like the Honeymooners are still the #1 TV show. We have 1950s Good Sam Logo Guy. We have the snail mail spam. We have Good Sam Rallies that feature entertainment that my Grandmother would have loved. Just a fact of life that Good Sam's target market is the Blue Hair set. You just notice the snail spam more than ever because now it stands alone (well, almost alone because about 90% of all the other snail mail spam is AARP) since everyone else has gone digital.
