First, we purchased in 2008, so things may be different now.
We had a deductible and shipping was not covered, leaving still quite a bill for wiper motor replacement.
We needed a new leaf spring, CW (2 different locations) said they did not do chassis work, and I should go to a recommended truck suspension place. The warranty company said it needed part numbers to approve the repair, and the truck company said it did not give out part numbers (understandably). We were left to pay the whole bill.
As others have said here, put the money in an interest bearing account and self insure. I would have been thousands ahead.
