Huge rate increase :(

I called this morning a confirmed that two claims in two different vehicles is the reason for the increase. I'm paying for 3 including the RV but in hindsight that seems to be a mistake. My wife and I are long time clients with more than 30 years clean driving records. (45 years in my case)

I was told these claims were "non-chargeable " but it sure seems that's not accurate. I don't see how we can be bumped up to high risk when We have no control over either the weather or wildlife. :M

I would like to see Good Sam negotiate more favorable terms on insurance for such a large pool of clients. RV drivers tend to be better drivers but NO ONE can avoid weather or suicidal deer.

  • Mine was a 35% increase that will probably be the end at next renewal I have only had them for 1 year since I bought mine no claims paid in full. Don't believe them.

Thanks for your attention. Please PM me if more information is desired. I might add that it is a 30% increase, or more than $800 per year increase.
  • this for the excuse they gave me:
They say it is Colorado increase on collision, it is still BS they take your money and that is all any insurance company wants and then raise you rates based on everybody and not your history, I think I should start an insurance company
