Wow, I just looked at my card and read it recently expired ! Called the 800 #, spoke with the nicest young lady in Colorado to update my membership, and obtain road side assistance on the RV we ordered and will pick up soon!

Simple and easy !

I think you are blowing this up a bit. My bet is there is a price on that stuff somewhere. But if you are right it's still not anywhere near fraud. It may be just a smarmy attempt to get people to sign up without shocking them with the price, which may not be strictly ethical but certainly not criminal.

Or...it could be an editing and printing mistake by the company that produces these...their advertising company, or it could be that the one piece flyer with the price on it in bold print that made it into 1 million other envelopes didnt get into yours. (This is common)

There are other possibilities that may have nothing to do with any bad intent on the part of GSE.

The simple fact is you could have opened the envelope and thrown it directly in the trash...where in my view all unsolicited mail belongs, and been done with this.

Sometimes when you jump with both feet you find you were standing at the edge of a cliff...

Betcha it had a toll free number for you to call. The operator would be happy to answer all your questions and explain the pricing structure when you call.

Authorities investigate What?

You did not like the mailing or its terms just toss it and get on with your life.
Why worry about it it is NOT your problem.
If the mailings did not work then GOOD SAM would stop the mailings. MArcus is not stupid. He is making money so the mailings must be working.

There's a place to check so you don't receive mail. We didn't.

When I get any junk or unwanted mail, it never makes it inside the house I place it in the round file cabinet outside my pump house, I re-up with Good Sam at the store, and do read the monthly catalog they send to see if anything I want or need is on sale. I enjoy many of the benefits, such as Flying J card and the savings really add up with two trucks, lawn mowers etc. Plus we bought a unit from CW and get 7 cents a gallon off for 3 years at least they do not call and bug me like the scam artists do trying to sell us whatever they are selling, even tho we are on the do not call list which is useless with nothing ever done on a complaint.
