A couple of weeks ago we stopped at a CG, during registration, I was told that no one in our area code with that name. We have been GS members since 2008, and within the last year a Life Member. Apparently they have some type of GS program for registering guests, just wondering why not In the data bank.

A good question. On our last trip out west, I lost my GS card. When I checked into another campground they asked for my name and zip code and immediately had my name, address and GS number. If you're not found in the database, something needs corrected. BTW, I've ordered a new card.

Never heard of them checking a data bank to verify you.

Good Sam member service is open 24/7 please call if a agent can help with a matter like this. We would be happy to verifiy membership with the park if needed. We had our card with us and could show membership, but it was the park that was puzzled as to the lack of us not being in the data bank.

Everything they required was then provided by their program. It was when They ask if we were GS members that it didn'tshow up. Maybe the administrator can enlighten us about the program they were using.
