As a final note, the rep from National General has contacted me. Two things happened to affect my last rate of $276 annually...the company admitted that they had made a mistake, and also pointed out that since my policy does cover FULL replacement of the unit at 6 years old the rate did go up accordingly. I’m happy with the final result.
