- AcdiiExplorerI wonder what Geico covers. I have them for the trailer insurance and includes roadside. I have used them for it before when the spare on my silveraod decided not to unlock. There was no way to get that tire down off the back. I had them tow it to my house where I was able to get the catch to release after an hour or more of struggling.
I also have GS roadside. I was just curious what the comparison is between them. - PastorCharlieExplorerIf a wheel bearing goes out, a spring breaks, the breaks lock up, etc. being able to change a tire will not get the job done.
- Do you carry the tools and can you change your own tire?
You can always call a local service if needed. - pitchExplorer IIWill AAA tow your trailer? Check their offering. I have GS but never have used it.
I had a flat on the trailer while in camp and just changed it myself. - catkinsExplorer IISo what happens to the TT if the tow vehicle needs to be towed? Leave it by the roadside? Please check what is actually covered in all plans by different providers/plans.
Also be aware the even AAA RV assistance is not available in all areas (or at least wasn't). If the zone did not offer RV package, your coverage was what was in that zone, not your home zone.
Like life insurance we hope to never have to claim on Roadside assistance. MAy you never need ! - tomkaren13ExplorerWe had GS roadside assistance for all Truck, car and TT. Now no TT but still keeping GS. Have served us well. have had to use for TT problems including tires and towing for the car. Do not know about AZ but AAA did us wrong in NY and heard for RV(TT) they can be strange.
- 1ofmanyExplorerWe enjoy the peace of mind offered by GS roadside asst...if something happens, we know who to call and they have always come through for us...their contractors may not always be the best, but even they have worked out for us.

Are you able to change a flat tire? IF you say yes. Then no you don't need it. Not real hard to do. Just need a wrench, and jack. Plus you will have it changed and back on the road hours before any roadside service can get to you. No way I would wait for them to come out.
Class A is a different story. Good chance you can't change those tires. - midnightsadieExplorer IIbetter read what aaa will cover ,or not cover.

I am glad to hear that you are considering Good Sam Roadside as your emergency provider. Please let us know if you have specific questions about the program.
Thanks,
Tom
