Issues with national general claims?

Does anyone have any suggestions to get them to Approve a claim? My trailer has been sitting at the shop for a month and they keep wanting more inspectors to look at it. Even after pulling the slide to see the damage they want another inspector to look at it. The shop and myself are extremely frustrated with them.
  • JustinBuntin,

I'd be happy to look into this for you. Could you please send me a private message with your name, policy # and phone number?

    Thank you,
    Tom
  • Use the term, "Bad faith" with them. All you have to say, to a claims supervisor, is they are acting in bad faith, and with that said, you would like to resolve this with him/her.
  • No this is the company Good Sam pushes as their preferred provider. They used to be GMAC.
  • Is this the outfit that advertises on TV using a cartoon character in an army helmet?

    'nuff said........
  • It's like talking to a wall. They have a process and will not deviate. I'm guessing most just give up. We have a Campsite reserved for memorial day we'll see if anything happens by then. I am about ready to call the insurance commission and file a complaint.
  • Call them up and ask if they'll pay for a rental trailer since nothing is being done and you have no idea of when the work will start.
