Kudos for Good Sam Roadside Assistance
DW and I have been on a road trip. We recently purchased a little 12V cooler to keep sodas and other items chilled while we travel. We stopped in Morro Bay, CA for a couple of nights. The second day we planned to visit Hearst Castle. DW made a reservation for the tour, and we went out and got in the car to go. Do you know that a small 12V cooler can run your car battery flat overnight? Guess who forgot to turn it off.
I called GSRA. They took my information and said I would receive a text message about the arrival of the helper. Good to their word I immediately received a text saying ETA 40 minutes. In about 30 minutes a polite young man arrived, jump started the car and bid us happy travels. We were very pleased. Nevertheless, when we were at Costco later in the day, I picked up a jumpstarter and compressor combo to carry on road trips.
