I would have had it towed to CW and then argued the case to get that big $2.76 back. even if it was 40 cents a mile that is less than $28.00.
GSRA has no connection to CW other than owned by the same company. The service contract states you will be towed to the nearest facility able to do the work. YOU DO NOT GET TO DECIDE IF THEY CAN DO THE WORK> NOR DO YOU GET TO DECIDE WHERE TO BE TOWED unless you foot the bill for the excess mileage.
MAYBE YOU SHOULD HAVE CALLED CAMPING WORLD to see what could be done
