Sorry about what happened, but I have ZERO sympathy for people who run out of gas and then complain it took someone else too long to rescue them.
I totally agree with your statement, I have never run out of gas in a vehicle driving over a million plus miles in the past 32 years until this happened.
My bad for doing so, saying that ; giving a person simple directions, them asking "several times where is Needles ? is that in Ca then oh there it is in Ca" "Where are you close by" ? That is why I said I was EAST of Needles Ca on Hwy I-40 headed to Exit 9 which is approx 11 miles EAST of my location. She repeated it back to me then apparently she misinformed the RSA provider.
It would have happened had I had a blow out , broke down or ? The point I was making was this was not a very good first time experience of using GSRSA.. period
After all this is their (GS)business, what she (GS representative/dispatcher) does for a living. She needs to do it better.
I wrote what I wrote because I thought you came across as condescending.
That being said, I had an issue with GSRA, and like you, it was my first time using the service. In the end it was handled promptly and professionally and have since used their service with satisfactory results.
You mention the dispatcher does what she does for a living. Maybe, and I would venture to say those are jobs with a high turnover rate, because they have to deal with an already upset public. You couldn't pay me enough to do that job.
