Missing notifications on both Firefox and Edge

min quite for about a day, then started working again, not sure if I am getting them all, but as soon as I go there then go out they get marked all as read.  what isn't working right either is the in box, you have to change it from show all to show new which is no good.  I think there might have been a behind the scene update but I can't get and answer for sure.  hopefully the bugs will get fixed though
