Your post piqued my curiosity, so I took a look at the GS roadside assistance brocure. Since this appeared to be wind damage, it probably falls into their exclusion of "acts of God or nature". The brocure specifically says these are not covered. However, it does state that they should have assisted you in finding a mobile service tech who could assist you at your expense.
